Up coming year’s Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) will choose spot in the Italian town of Turin, the organisers say.
The semi-finals will be held on Might 10 and 12, adopted by the final on Might 14 in the PalaOlimpico arena in the northern metropolis 150 kilometres west of Milan.
Several Italian metropolitan areas like Rome, Milan and Florence had submitted their software for staging the contest but the European Broadcasting Union and the Italian general public broadcaster Rai who organise the levels of competition inevitably opted for Turin.
Italy became the 2022 host place for the well known contest right after the Italian rock band Maneskin received this year’s version.
The state has also held the ESC on two prior situations, in Naples in 1965, and in Rome in 1991.
