Five Republicans get US Capitol subpoenas

Congressman Kevin McCarthy, the leading Republican in the US Residence of Associates, and 4 other lawmakers have obtained subpoenas from the Home committee investigating the January 6, 2021 assault on the Capitol by Donald Trump’s supporters.

The January 6 House Find Committee issued the subpoenas to try out to secure the lawmakers’ testimony soon after they had turned down voluntary co-operation with the investigation.
