FA to probe flare throw by Richarlison

Richarlison faces a Football Association investigation for throwing a lit smoke grenade following scoring Everton’s winner in opposition to Chelsea.

The Brazilian struck a minute into the next half at Goodison Park on Sunday and Everton held on for a 1- victory that moves them within two factors of Leading League basic safety.

In the celebrations that followed Richarlison’s objective, a lit blue smoke canister was thrown on to the pitch by supporters.

Richarlison responded by finding the item up and throwing it, even though it was unclear the place it landed.

An Everton spokesperson mentioned: “We will look into the make any difference but, as significantly we are concerned, Richarlison was making an attempt to throw it out of the ground.”
