HOLT, Mich. (WILX) – The Holt Enterprise Alliance honored Holt Public Educational facilities superintendent Dr. David Hornak and Lucas Schrauben, the district’s director of Secondary Packages, for their endeavours to support learners and give back to the neighborhood.
Hornak received the Ronald Van Ermen Legacy Award from the team at its meeting in January. Pat Brown, vice president of the alliance, observed Hornak’s steadfast leadership throughout complicated periods above the earlier couple of years, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
The award is named for Ronald Van Ermen, assistant superintendent of Holt Community Universities in the 1990s. He aided restructure the organization alliance to much better bridge the gap between business enterprise, authorities and training, and that vision stays the mission of the alliance.

Schrauben was named Holt Business Alliance Educator of the Yr. The group noted that Schrauben is a graduate of Holt Community Schools and has focused his experienced profession to helping college students explore their values, enthusiasm and goal.
“Lucas Schrauben carries on to innovate, educate and encourage Holt Public learners to be the future fantastic leaders in our modifying economy, no matter whether it is in robotics, aviation, design or countless other scholar chances,” Brown stated. “We are happy to figure out him for his ongoing commitment to our pupils and the Holt community.”
